The message of the Christian church is one of hope, love, peace, purpose and comfort. It's a message that will inspire, uplift and provide solutions to humankind’s greatest challenges.
There are churches across the world expanding in size and influence, illuminating the world with light. Yet at the same time, the chasm between the church and the world is also increasing as less people look to the church for relevance in their everyday lives.
In this politically correct world where “acceptance” is the mantra, the acceptance of Christian perspectives is diminishing. Many view the church as “judgmental, uncaring and unloving” because Christians view the Bible – rather than popular culture – as the authority from which guidelines for life are taken.
Much of the church is struggling to come to terms with a world in which they are suddenly viewed as the minority – the outsiders. There is a good reason for this struggle: Many churches have separated themselves from the wider world to the point where they fail to relate to or even understand the perspectives of others who do not share their worldview.
The purpose of this website – created from a ‘public relations’ perspective - is to help connect the church with the community it serves and is called to reach.
Connecting the church and the community also requires the church being aware of the agenda of those who oppose its message and to take the steps needed to protect its reputation. The integrity of the message is directly connected to its potential impact, and the message of the church is the key to connection.
